Who gets to place a reconstructed animal in an ecosystem?
Creating an animal is different from deciding where it can live. Modern ecosystems, local communities, disease risks, and animal welfare may no longer match the extinct species' former conditions. Who should've authority over a release decision, and what ecological modeling and public consent should be required before it moves beyond containment?
