Funny real-person stories still need some verification
Podcasts often tell shocking or comic anecdotes because the story itself carries the segment. When it concerns a real person, entertainment value doesn't remove the risk of spreading a false account. How much checking should happen before repeating it, and should the standard change when the story could damage someone's reputation?
