Helping a friend who’s caught in a suspected scam
Directly calling someone gullible can deepen the isolation that a manipulator already relies on. A concerned friend has to challenge the story without making continued contact feel humiliating or unsafe. What approach could preserve trust, introduce verifiable doubts, and leave the person room to reconsider without forcing an immediate admission?
